The restaurant chain McDonald's is continuing to expand in Panama, with two more stores planned to open next year.
The two new locations are planned for Albrook shopping center and Coronado, said Loney Armijo, regional operations manager for the franchise.
The company recently opened two stores in Panama City, one in Villa de Las Fuentes and the other in Brisas del Golf.
It costs the restaurant between $1.2 million and $1.3 million to open each branch.
It also plans to extend its operating hours at its location on Calle 50, keeping the location open 24 hours from Thursday to Sunday. These are the same hours of operation as the chain's location on Vía Veneto.
