A party in the Los Robles Sur area of Don Bosco turned deadly early Sunday morning when three people were killed in a hail of gunfire.

Three other people were injured, reported Policía Nacional spokesman Eduardo Ling Yuen.

Killed were Edwin Eduardo Rangel, Robert Taylor and José Gabriel Palma, who died in the emergency room of Hospital Santo Tomás.

Those wounded were Blas Manuel Rodríguez and José Jair Palma, brother of José Gabriel Palma. Rodríguez, who was shot in the chest, is being treated at the Complejo Metropolitano de la Caja de Seguro Social. Palma who was shot in the head, is being treated at Hospital Santo Tomás.

A third victim, Luis José Girón, was grazed by a bullet and did not require treatment.

On Saturday night, a gunfight between two gangs in the area of Cerro Cocobolo in San Miguelito resulted in five people being treated for gunshot wounds.

The incident happened at about 11:10 p.m. outside the Escuela Martin Luther King.

No arrests have been made in either incident.

Police are also still looking for the gunmen who shot El Chorrillo politician Héctor Ávila Friday night.

Ávila and a minor, whose name was not released, were shot while walking in Parque Amelia Denis De Icaza by two people who police believe are also minors.
