Holiday Inn and hostelry school to open soon
Bern Hotels & Resorts announced that is ready to formally begin operations next April with the Holiday Inn in Ciudad del Saber, in Clayton, in conjunction with its hostelry school, The Panama International Hotel School.
"The hotel is in its final stage of being built and equipped with key personnel engaged in training while awaiting the first guests," the Bern group has reported.
With an investment of $12 million and with the support of the InterContinental Hotels Group, the new hotel project will feature the Holiday Inn Latin American brand image, and will feature 137 rooms and suites. Thierry Eck will serve as its general manager and administrator.
Eck has worked previously in his native France and also in Germany, England, Canada and several Caribbean locations.
