| Drug Trafficker: Colombian Pablo Rayo Montaño owned the home broken into by four police offers looking for loot.952312 |
The Fiscalía Primera de Drogas is seeking to prosecute four officials of the Policía Nacional (PN) for allegedly breaking into the residence of Colombian drug trafficker Pablo Rayo Montano, in Gorgona, in search of $8 million.
Sergeants Martín Aguilar Rojas, Martiniano Díaz Morales and Giovani Barría Vega, along with corporal Dídimo Urriola, were taken into custody under various charges.
Investigations show that the four policemen had entered the house on April 1, 2006, with tools to dig a hole in the bottom of the pool of the residence, where Montano supposedly had hidden the money.
The house is listed among the property seized earlier from Rayo Montano's network.
The Policía Nacional have thus far only ordered the dismissal of the four policemen for drinking liquor in the drug merchant's house.
