Chinese trade show set for this weekend

Despite widely reported problems with products and toys manufactured in China, officials from that country are optimistic about its upcoming annual trade fair at the Atlapa exposition center.
Zhang Baojun, director of the exhibition slated for Dec. 6-9, explained that his country has taken precautions to ensure that products presented at the fair will be of the highest quality. He also reported that China´s trade with Panama is growing.
The products on display at the 10th annual Chinese Exhibition will include automotive parts, bicycles, appliances, construction materials and pharmaceuticals. Entry will be free.
More than 100 companies from 11 Chinese cities are expected at the event. The trade show annually generates millions of dollars in business between the two countries.
